  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Pure vanilla preferred

Method
 

Prepare the Frosting
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chilled heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
  2. Using an electric mixer, whip the mixture on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.
  3. Continue whipping until stiff peaks form, being careful not to overwhip.
