Ingredients
  

Taco Filling
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Can substitute with turkey or plant-based meat
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 cup Onion Chopped
  • 1 cup Bell Pepper Chopped
  • 1 cup Taco Shells Soft or hard shells
Toppings
  • 1 cup Shredded Lettuce
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream Optional
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Jalapeños Optional

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  2. Add chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Warm taco shells in the oven or microwave as per package instructions.
  2. Spoon the beef mixture into each taco shell.
  3. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, and jalapeños as desired.
