Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by greasing it lightly.
- Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl, combining flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk them together until well combined.
- Beat eggs and sugar in a separate bowl until light and frothy, about 5 minutes.
- Combine the egg mixture with the dry ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into your prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the cake in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Prepare the milk mixture by whisking together sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk in a large bowl.
Topping
- Once the cake is cooled, poke holes in the top and pour the milk mixture over the cake, allowing it to soak in.
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form and spread it over the soaked cake.
- Top with fresh strawberries for decoration and serve.
