Method
 

Baking the Cake
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare your baking pans by greasing and flouring them.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Incorporate the dry mixture gradually into the wet ingredients, alternating with milk.
  7. Fold in fresh strawberries gently.
  8. Pour the batter into prepared pans and smooth the tops.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Cool the cakes in their pans for about 10 minutes before transferring them to wire racks.
Frosting the Cake
