Ingredients
  

For the Quinoa Base
  • 1 cup Quinoa Rinsed
  • 2 cups Water or Vegetable Broth Use broth for added flavor
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste
For Additional Flavor (Optional)
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Drizzle for richness
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Or fresh garlic
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice For brightness

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the quinoa under cold water to remove its natural coating, called saponin.
  2. Combine the rinsed quinoa with water or broth in the Instant Pot.
  3. Seal the Instant Pot lid securely and set the valve to 'Sealing.' Select the 'Manual' or 'Pressure Cook' setting and adjust the timer to 1 minute on high pressure.
  4. Release the pressure naturally for 10 minutes after cooking, then carefully switch to 'Venting' to release any remaining steam.
  5. Fluff the cooked quinoa with a fork once the steam has fully escaped.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon for added brightness.
