  • 2 cups fresh pineapple, diced
  • 1 medium red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 medium jalapeño, seeded and minced adjust to taste
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced pineapple, red onion, red bell pepper, cilantro, and jalapeño.
  2. Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and add salt to taste.
  3. Toss everything together until well combined.
  4. Let the salsa sit for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos or grilled meats.

Notes
