  3. Gently fold the ingredients together until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into a 9-inch round cake pan.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until the cake is golden and springs back when touched.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
