Preparation
- In a bowl, whisk together matcha powder and hot water until smooth and vibrant green.
- In another bowl, beat mascarpone cheese with sugar and vanilla extract until creamy and well-combined.
- Using a hand mixer, whip heavy cream in a separate bowl until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the matcha mixture and arrange them at the bottom of your serving dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the soaked ladyfingers evenly.
- Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture on top.
- Cover your dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Just before serving, dust the top generously with matcha powder.
