Method
Prepare the Sandwiches
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in a skillet.
- Layer with a slice of cheese and top with another slice of bread, butter side up.
Cook the Sandwiches
- Heat the skillet over medium heat and cook until the bread is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted, about another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from skillet and let cool slightly before slicing.
