Hot Cheese Sandwiches

Ingredients
  

Bread
  • 8 slices Bread White or whole grain
Cheese
  • 8 slices Cheddar cheese Or your favorite melting cheese
Butter
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Softened for spreading

Method
 

Prepare the Sandwiches
  1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in a skillet.
  3. Layer with a slice of cheese and top with another slice of bread, butter side up.
Cook the Sandwiches
  1. Heat the skillet over medium heat and cook until the bread is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted, about another 3-4 minutes.
  3. Remove from skillet and let cool slightly before slicing.
