Ingredients
  

Taco Filling
  • 1 lb Ground Turkey Lean
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil For cooking
  • 1 small Onion Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tbsp Taco Seasoning Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce Or diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup Bell Pepper Chopped
Taco Assembly
  • 8 small Corn Tortillas Or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup Lettuce Shredded
  • 1 cup Cheese Shredded, cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1 medium Tomato Diced
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream Optional
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro Chopped, optional

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground turkey, cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  4. Stir in taco seasoning and tomato sauce, simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add chopped bell pepper, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  2. Spoon turkey filling onto each tortilla.
  3. Top with lettuce, cheese, diced tomatoes, sour cream, and cilantro.
  4. Fold and serve immediately.
