Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
Optional Ingredients
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Crema
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream and heavy cream.
  2. Add lime juice and salt, and whisk until smooth.
  3. If using, stir in minced garlic for added flavor.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped cilantro if desired.
