Ingredients
  

Beef Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef preferably lean
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger fresh, minced
  • 1 cup carrots shredded
  • 1 cup green onions sliced
  • 1 head butter lettuce leaves separated

Method
 

Prepare the Beef Filling
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  2. Drain excess fat, then add garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil, mixing well.
  4. Add shredded carrots and green onions, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Assemble the Wraps
  1. Take a lettuce leaf and spoon a portion of the beef mixture into the center.
  2. Wrap the lettuce around the filling and serve immediately.
